SR Semi Pro Back to Timeline
When my Semi Pro was stolen*, it had yellow bar tape and a yellow seat cover, so that it would resemble as near as possible Fignon's and Lemond's blue and yellow 1982 Gitanes with Campagnolo Super Record (not the 1983 with ghastly black Modolo brake levers and calipers....but wait, that amazing Stronglight Aero crankset....oh, the torment of component choices). Love the Zefal frame-not-fit pump....had one! I added a second water bottle cage (thank you American Classic hidden bolts) and frame fit blue Silca pump, with Avocet pump peg. I dreamed of swapping to aero brake levers, the superb Dia Compe drilled ones, but the thief threw a wrench into all my plans.
*Ok, a fourth bike stolen could make a person start to think about how not to get their bike stolen. So it can be said that I threw the wrench into my own plans.
